ABOUT US The Ice Mountain Figure Skating Club (IMFSC) is a non-profit, full membership club with United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA).
Current members of the IMFSC are from communities within both Lapeer
and Genesee counties in Michigan. However, members hold dear to the
community where their home rink still remains, but closed...the Burton
community. Prior to the summer of 2012, the Ice Mountain Arena Complex was the
home to IMFSC members since 2002, providing a fun and safe skating
experience for the beginner as well as the more advanced skater. The
IMFSC has also been the host to five successful "Skate the Mountain"
events -- a Michigan Basic Skills Series Competition -- drawing skaters
in from all over Michigan and Ohio to Illinois and Wisconsin. "Skate
the Mountain" for 2013 is scheduled on Saturday, September 28 with
location TBD.
JOIN US Whether
you are passionate about community or new to the skating world, we
invite you to join us. We welcome new ideas and appreciate the support
and continued prayers that the Ice Mountain Arena Complex will
once again have open doors. In the meantime, we recently hosted a special skating exhibition in support of National Skating Month. The Perani Arena and Event Center was filled with a bit of skating history, music, dancing, spirit and power! Click HERE to read about the success in the news!

HEARTFELT THANK YOU Coaches, Donna Loveland-Piscitelli and Karen Lemieux, would like to thank the Lakeland FSC Director,
Hollie Campagna, and her team for their gracious support of their need
for ice. "We can't thank this group enough for allowing us to keep our
club alive through such an unfortunate, yet temporary, closing of our
community rink."
